Ok I’ve been here years ago but didn’t review. This place has been here for as long as I can remember. So decided to give it another go. It is good old Chinese food that everyone’s familiar with. We had the lunch menu and believe me share it with someone because it’s enough for two easy. Very hot and very fresh. Their awning is ripped outside and needs a little refresh but don’t let that stop you. Give them a try you wont be disappointed.

The food was very very flavorful; it was my favorite. The rice wasn’t too salty and it was a nice moisture, with small shrimp. The orange chicken was very good and even had a nice spice to it . I just didn’t like that the majority of the pieces of chicken were the coating, not actual chicken. The Lo MEIN was also very flavorful (had carrots, bean sprouts, carrots, onion, mushrooms, celery, and shrimps). I personally would have liked if the noodles were a bit drier (but my mom liked how moist it was). No regrets though. On top of that, the order was ready quickly. Definitely recomendéd and will come again!

Best I have eating. I have been to Chinatown in San Francisco and in Florida and Texas and Chicago Chinatown and better than Happy Dragon and second fave is in Douglasville Georgia. Thank you. Really good.

They are consistent with their crusine's quality & quantity, having large portions of pork, chicken, beef, or seafood of their fares with lunch specials everyday during the posted hours. They only do carry out these days along with being very busy. We love their Orange Chicken that if flavored perfectly. We really enjoy their food. You will definitely enjoy having Chinese take-out from this place. The inside of pretty much the usual takeout places.

Liang’s has been my go to chines restaurant for many years. Today I have to say that I am VERY disappointed. I ordered combination fried rice, chicken and broccoli shrimp egg foo young, and two egg rolls. Everything was disgusting except for the egg rolls. That was the only thing that I could eat. I am so disappointed that I spent $40 on this food just to be able to eat the egg rolls. I am never going back again. I will just stick to chens in Tinley Park from now on because they never disappoint.

Liang's Garden Restaurant perfectly emulates the essence of Supreme Quality. I have always enjoyed Asian cuisine, however not every Asian restaurant is made equal. Some of them do not have a single person of Asian descent working on staff, thus it is easily noticeable. You can not have a bunch of Cubans, making Cantonese cuisine, and expect everything, to be authenticly tasting. There is nothing racist about it, it is all about culture, and being genetically predisposed, to certain methods of madness. I first tried Liang's Garden Restaurant around the Covid Shut down. I am actually surprised, it took me so long, for me to finally eat here. I grew up not far from this area. I used to work out at the now closed LA Fitness, down the Street. I believe it is due to people's loyalty to good Chinese Restaurants. I used to eat at one, in Homewood called Golden Buddha. This location is the closest to matching their amazing flavor. Ever since I started eating here, they are always a top option, if I don't feel like cooking. What really makes Liang's Garden Restaurant special, is not just the high quality of the taste, but the abundance of theportions they give. I am a big guy, and I can eat a lot. However, I can never finish an entire dinner plate from Liang's, in one sitting. I ordered Mongolian Chicken last night, and the chicken was not dry at all, it was sweet and juicy. In addition, there are other details, that highlights Liang's dedication, to customers satisfaction. For example, this is the only Chinese restaurant, that I have ordered from, that does not charge extra, for having Shrimp Fried Rice, with the lunch and dinner specials. I have been to a significant number of Oriental Restaurants, and I can say without a doubt, this is the ONLY ONE that does not charge extra. It is originally offered with the meal. All the other restaurants, originally offer pork or beef fried rice, but then charge extra for the shrimp, because they know, that is what everyone wants. It is little things like that, that puts them above others. Liang's Garden Restaurant is a beautiful building and has a nice Zen ambiance inside. The only somewhat constructive criticism I have is, I wish they would eventually open up, the dine in option. I would love to sit down and have a meal. I can imagine, it was shut down, due to Covid. There are many businesses, that did not survive all that chaos. However places like Liang's Garden Restaurant, will never fold. It is due to their understanding, of placing Quality over everything else. That is how you build a loyal customer base, that will fight hard, to keep everything operational, so their favorite businesses do not close. Thank you very much.
